Mike Deese - Senior Pastor
Mike is the founding and senior pastor of Crosspointe. He and his wife, Felicia, have six adult children, and are actively involved in supporting them all around the globe. They have served the community with their coaching, acting as team/class mom, serving as RHS team chaplain, and currently Mike serves as chaplain at two local companies, Thrive and Hope Industrial Systems. Prior to serving in the Roswell community, Mike served seven years as a senior pastor in Fort Worth, Texas. He is a native of Alabama, and received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Auburn University. Mike received his Masters of Divinity at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and attended Fuller Theological Seminar for studies in Church Growth and Health. Mike and Felicia are happiest when they are serving and teaching--either locally or abroad; sharing adventures with their kids; or cheering for their Auburn Tigers.
Russ Muretisch - Minister of Discipleship and Music
Russ and his wife, Robin, have 3 children and 7 grandchildren. All his children are actively serving the Lord in various ministries across the U.S. and the time spent with them is treasured. Russ cherishes his sweet wife, Robin, currently employed as internal consultant and facilitator at a utility company. The Muretischs came to CCC in 2014. Prior to that, Russ served as youth ministry director, retreat speaker, Sunday school teacher, treasurer, worship leader, and was a member of various Christian bands. He is currently serving on the CCC Music Ministry team and is actively involved in a Life Group, where he's served as back-up facilitator. Russ spent over 40 years in industrial piping engineering-- designing power, chemical and steel plants as well as food and beverage manufacturing lines. Russ enjoys music, the outdoors, landscape design and gardening. Being a Pittsburg transplant, Russ is pro-Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins!
Rachel Mary Guy--Children’s Ministry Intern
Rachel is a recent home school graduate taking a gap year. She has a genuine love for Jesus and His heart for the orphaned, specifically in Africa where in Uganda she started an international ministry. She also began a ministry for women to find hope-filled care during a crisis pregnancy. Rachel is passionate for God's heart for ALL life and has spoken at many pro-life venues. Rachel has served as preschool teacher; with the performance group and as a co-teacher in a discipleship class for 4th and 5th grade girls. She serves at The Hope Center and volunteers at Georgia Right to Life. She loves sharing the gospel world-wide and pouring into children.
Ana Bori – Financial & Facilities Coordinator
Ana has been on staff at Crosspointe since 2006. Ana lives in Alpharetta with her husband, Phil Downing, and two sons Dallas, Dillon and their dog Bella. Ana grew up in Orlando, Florida and received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Florida (GO GATORS!) Ana is passionate about empowering people to make behavioral and lifestyle changes. She loves to share nutritional and health information with all she meets.
Michelle Meadows – Pastoral Ministry Assistant
Michelle and her family have been church members since 2004. She has been involved with Crosspointe's mission outreaches, preschool and nursery youngin's, hospitality/event planning, grace-based counseling training seminars, and for the past ten years, pastoral ministry assistant. This has been her greatest joy as it allows Pastor Mike to spend more time ministering to the CCC flock and the Roswell community. She is joyfully married to Steve and is grateful to be momma to Michael, Stephanie and Aaron, her son-in-love.
Tammy Minear — Missions Coordinator
Since joining Crosspointe in 1994 Tammy has been on mission with Christ in many areas of ministry, from hospitality to worship team to children's/youth/ and women's ministry. Coupled with her passion to disciple people to Christ and encourage them to walk by grace through faith in the abundant life of Christ, Tammy was led to serve as Missions Coordinator in 2004. She ministered in Ukraine and has led teams to South Africa, Thailand, India, Maryland, Camp Grace and other local areas of ministry. She also teaches English as a Second Language with other Crosspointe members and partners at a local elementary school. Tammy continues to teach and facilitate grace-based conferences and life groups while waiting for God to lead us to our next mission destination.
Frank and his wife, Tammy, have 3 children, Scott, Shelbie and Colby. They joined the Crosspointe family in 1994. Frank is a computer programmer and all around computer techy. He definitely has the spiritual gift of Helps – enjoying support rolls behind the scene, helping in whatever way he can. During his time at Crosspointe he has been involved in various ministries such as sound team, garage sale fund raisers, and the children's ministry. Frank has also been a vital member of mission teams, serving in South Africa and India, as well as at Camp Grace. Currently Frank is serving as a greeter, nursery worker, and tech support for our pastor and office staff. Frank enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and college sports.
For over thirty years Doug has been the president of a management consulting firm. He concentrates on criminal justice research, planning and evaluation of the courts, law enforcement, and prosecutors, improving the way they protect southeastern communities. Doug is married to Barb, a retired math teacher who still teaches as a substitute at Crabapple Middle School in Roswell. Barb and Doug have a son, Drew, who married Kate over a year ago. Drew works in IT and Kate is a nurse in a neonatal infant care unit. The Baileys live in Roswell and have been members of Crosspointe since 1997. Like Barb, Doug has the spiritual gift of teaching. He facilitates an adult group on Sunday mornings, and serves the body as a facilitator of ministry development at Crosspointe. You can joke with Doug about his hobby: finding money to keep the tank full on his turquoise '58 Cadillac.
Kelly and his wife Mindy live in Roswell with their two young children, Natalie and Clay. Kelly is co-owner of Kelly & Stan's Automotive in Roswell. His son Richard and daughter-in-law Courtney live in Atlanta with their 3 children, Harper, Avalyn, and Quinlin. Kelly has attended Crosspointe since 1996 and has served in many ministries. He currently leads a men's group on Wednesday evenings and has a heart to develop the Men's Ministry at Crosspointe. Kelly's favorite downtime activities include working in his yard, playing sports, and spending time with his family.
Steve and his wife, Michelle, have 2 children, Stephanie and Michael. Michelle is a volunteer at Crosspointe serving as an office administrator. Stephanie is married to a youth pastor, Aaron Miller, and they now live in Virginia. Michael is a student at Auburn University. The Meadows joined the Crosspointe family in 2004 and now reside in the Marietta/Roswell area. Steve is a lifelong resident of Marietta and has been an Account Executive selling software the past 25 years. He facilitates one of the adult groups on Sunday mornings and has been involved with several mission teams to South Africa, Guatemala, and Camp Grace in Roberta, Georgia. Steve is an avid fan of the Auburn Tigers and loves to spend time hiking and relaxing in the mountains of North Carolina.
